Jessie Emile

Jessie Emile is an artist, photographer and musician based in Montreal, born from two Haitian parents. She is interested in the healing power of truth and beauty. Her work revolves around the themes of identity, individuality and perception, inspired by God's creation and his Holy Spirit. She produces pieces that can be experienced through the gate of the eyes and the ears with tools like; still and moving images, sound, color and light, as a mean to bring light to different realities while telling stories.

Jessie Emile est une artiste, photographe et musicienne basée à Montréal, née de deux parents Haïtiens. Elle s'intéresse au pouvoir de guérison de la vérité et de la beauté. Son travail se focalise principalement sur l'identité, l'individualité et la perception, inspiré par la création de Dieu et de son Esprit Saint. Elle produit des œuvres qui s'expérimente à travers la porte des yeux et la porte des oreilles avec des outils comme; l'image statique et animée, le son, la couleur et la lumière, comme moyen d'apporte la lumière à différentes réalités tout en racontant des histoires.

Le processus est aussi important que le résultat final, si ce n'est pas plus!
